Making Infused Coconut Oil Salve

Ingredients:

Activated (decarbed) flower, crushed in small pieces  - 18 gram*
Organic coconut oil - 1-1/2 cup
Beeswax pellets - 1/3 cup
Optional: Essential oil(s) of your choice**
Optional: vitamin E oil - 1 teaspoon

Tools:
Rosineer 2-in-1 infuser 
Double-boiler or a pot
Stirring spoon
Amber jars of your choice

    Instructions:

    1. Take out the pot together with the strainer and stirrer from the infuser. Keep the strainer inside the pot.
    2. Position the stirrer in middle of the strainer and add your flower.
    3. Measure and add coconut oil to the strainer.
    4. Place the pot together with the strainer and all ingredients inside the infuser and close the lid making sure it locks.
    5. Set the infuser to 175°F for 2 hours. 
    6. Press Start button when ready. When the infuser reaches the set temperature, the countdown starts.
    7. Start the stirrer at a medium speed.
    8. When the countdown ends, stop the stirrer, open up the lid and remove the pot from the infuser.
    9. Lift up the strainer and drain the remaining oil into the pot.
    10. Add beeswax to a double-boiler (or a regular pot with a thick bottom) and heat it gently on a stove until it is melted.
    11. Add the infused coconut oil and mix it just until it is well combined.
    12. Remove from the heat and add an optional essential oil(s) of your choice and vitamin E. Stir well.
    13. Pour the final mixture into amber glass jars.
    14. Let it cool completely and solidify before storing. Store in a dark cool place and use it within a year.

    **Peppermint, lemon, lavender, tea tree, rosemary, chamomile are all good choices.
