How to Make Hemp Butter

Ingredients:

Activated (decarbed) flower, crushed in small pieces  - 12 gram*
Good quality butter - 1 cup (1-1/2 stick)

Tools:

Rosineer 2-in-1 infuser

Instructions:

1. Take out the pot with the strainer and stirrer from the infuser. Keep the strainer inside the pot.
2. Position the stirrer in middle of the strainer and add your flower.
3. Cut the butter into chunks and add them to the strainer.
4. Place the pot together with the strainer and all ingredients inside the infuser and close the lid making sure it locks.
5. Set the infuser to 210°F for 2 hours.
6. Press Start button when ready. When the infuser reaches the set temperature, the countdown starts.
7. Start the stirrer at a medium speed to better flavor incorporation.
8. When the countdown ends, stop the stirrer, open up the lid and remove the pot from the infuser.
9. Lift up the strainer and drain the melted butter into the pot. If you'd like, you can further strain the butter using a fine nylon mesh strainer to remove all plant particles.
10. Pour the melted butter into a glass container with an airtight lid and, after, it cools completely, refrigerate. Keep refrigerated and use it within a month.

NOTE: it is not unusual to see a small amount of separated water in the jar after the butter solidifies. Don't panic. This is normal. Just gently drain it. The way to prevent butter separation is to use clarified butter or ghee. You can clarify a regular butter yourself by gently boiling it on the stove over low heat and skimming the foam until melted butter is clear of any white solids.
