Our 5 gal Filter Bags Set consists of five labeled and color-coded drawstring filter bags of 5 mesh sizes, 25, 73, 120, 160, and 220 microns, two square pressing mesh screens, and a carrying drawstring bag. These 5 gallon filter bag sets are available in two material options:

  • CANVAS & MESH - the bags are made with nylon canvas on the side and mesh on the bottom only 
  • ALL MESH - the side and the bottom are made with mesh.

5 gal BPA-free food grade bucket (white color) is optional and can be added to both filter bag sets. Please make selection before placing your order.

Quality is great, might be my fault...

I used my bags, and while I wish they were just a bit bigger to fit more easily on a standard 5-gallon Home Depot pail, they did fit snugly. The main issue I encountered was difficulty washing off the material that accumulated on the screens. I'm not sure if it was because my material was exceptionally sticky or if the mesh held onto the material more than I expected. I plan to run another wash or two to see if I can figure out what went wrong. Overall, though, the bags feel solid and well-made

  • What are the washing instructions on these?

    The best way to clean your filter bags is to rinse them in cold water just after each use and let them air dry. You can spot clean them with alcohol, if it becomes necessary. Generally, it is not recommended to use detergents since they leave a residue and contaminate your product or use a washer mashine.
