Rosineer Pre-Press Mold compacts your material into a 1.5"x1.5" square form, removes trapped air, reduces chances of bag blowouts or tears, and improves yield. Similarly to our rectangular pre-press mold,Ā the square one consists of three parts made of food-grade anodized aluminum. A narrow gap between the mold components ensures effective functionality.

How long does it take to press
You are going to use the mold to compact, remove extra air between flower particles, make it of equal thickness, and to prepare for pressing. I'd say it would take you less than a minute to perform this task.

Will the 1.5 inch pre-press square too large to use with the Presso ? Will it squeeze out the sides of the plates ? Would the 30mm be a better choice?
The internal size or puck size of 1.5"x1.5" square mold is 1.3"x1.3", so it fits PRESSO. The 30mm cylinder one also works with PRESSO.

How much flour can you put in the prepress at a time
It can pre-press about 7 - 20 grams depending on how thick you need for the puck.
